Sattarkhan, national sardar :

Sattar Gharadaghi, son of Haj Hassan Gharadaghi, was born in 1284 hegira in Azarbayjan. He was occupied in different jobs in youth and due to hardships he joined the constitutionalists and from the incumbency of Azarbaijan state society, he was linked with them and had membership in another society called Haghighat society which members were revolutionaries and liberalists of Tabriz. The late Mohammad Ghazvini writes on notes about him: for 11 months from Jamadiul 20,1326 to 8, Rabiuttani 1327,Sattarkhan resisted hardly against35000 to 40,000 state soldiers which were conducted under his leadership. His fame spread abraod gradually and his audacity and bravery was published in all over the world and in the European, US. Papers, his name was printed on front pages detailing his wars and resistances against state soldiers. He was really a sample of bravery and patriotism and manhood. He had special belief in shiism and the noble emams specially Hazrat Ali. He was present in mourning sessions of emam Hossein and sattarkhan after conquest of Tehran by constitutionalists, entered Tehran with unprcedented homage paid to him and resided in Park Atabak and made the place of Mujahedeen. Later on, in clashes with state officials, he became wounded in one foot and four years later he died in 1332 hegira at age of 48 years and was buried in hazrat abdolazim shrine in Bagh Tuti area.
