Martyrs Buried in the Astan
The holy Astan of Hazrat Abdulazim al-Hasani (upon him be peace), throughout its blessed history, has always been one of the important and effective centers in history-making and honor-creating arenas, and during the 8 years of sacred defense, this holy place was considered one of the most important centers for dispatching fighters to the fronts of right against wrong.
The fighters of Islam always, in magnificent dispatches held in the old courtyard and opposite the Aineh Ivan, before departing to the fronts, attended this luminous place and renewed their pledge with Hazrat Sayyid al-Karim and the exalted Imamzadehs (upon them be peace).
Many residents of Rey and neighbors of the holy Astan still remember the days when passionate youths gathered in the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdulazim al-Hasani (upon him be peace) to pledge together for the defense of Islam and the Islamic homeland.
Also, according to the will of many martyrs of Tehran and Rey city and many surrounding counties, their pure bodies after martyrdom were brought to this angelic shrine for funeral procession and tawaf and then buried.

Abdollah was born in the year 1343 in December in Rey City and was one and a half years old when he lost his father and never tasted paternal affection, then grew up by his mother and sister and older brother and went to school. He was in the second year of middle school when the revolution was passing days that were in the process of taking and developing and reaching its peak, and Abdollah too, with a number of school friends, participated very seriously and diligently in marches and street demonstrations, and in all his activities, he drew energy from Imam's leaflets and tapes, the same Imam whom he finally succeeded in visiting in Behesht Zahra, but a visit mixed with regret, regret that why wasn't I further ahead, these forty-fifty steps seemed like leagues, but no, Imam was flowing in his veins and pulsing in his heart. When he heard my place was more suitable and closer, he became upset why he didn't move from home to Behesht Zahra with me, and this very experience caused that when Imam issued the order to cancel the martial law, in Rey City square, although on the roof a machine gun was placed towards the square and the Shah's executioners were ready for massacre, he didn't pass by me and with others responded to revolutionary slogans. Another thing is that he strived hard in capturing Reza Khan's tomb, and the spirit of bravery awakened in him until the revolution triumphed and committees took shape. Since in the early revolution he had left school, he preferred to work in the committee, and in those very days, he was teaching weapons, and at nights until morning he was awake and on duty in the committee, and around these works, he had formed a secret group to identify the hypocrites and anti-people revolutionary and anti-God groups, and several times engaged in armed struggle and confrontation with them, and captured the pit houses and the former Dolat Abad town with the help of other comrades who were in the committee, and arrested the hypocrites. And the day when the traitor Bani Sadr came to Rey for a speech and to deceive the people, although he was the president and holder of power, Abdollah, since he knew his dirty face and his truly vile real face, along with a number of his classmates, disrupted his speech and disgraced him, but this was not enough. When he decided to write slogans death to Bani Sadr on walls, he faced severe protest from some people but stood against all and wrote the slogans. Until the imposed war began and a few months passed from the war, and he with much insistence and persistence was dispatched to the Ahvaz front and spent several months fighting the Saddamite infidels and after a while returned. Before I say about his going to the front, it is necessary to explain that he had a strange interest in Imam's Risalah and the books of martyr Professor Motahhari and constantly studied, and day by day his prostrations during prayer became longer, as if detached from the world and attached to the hereafter. For this reason, his dealings, his associations, and his sayings and movements and all his actions were Islamic, and his worship, yes, from Kumayl prayer and prayer and fasting and self-purification, nothing but this was expected. Well, let's pass, because there are many untold matters and little opportunity. Abdollah, upon returning from Ahvaz, after passing an intensive course in Imam Hasan barracks and seeing the heavy weapons course, was dispatched to Kurdistan, and in one of his letters wrote to us: Here when we perform wudu, the wudu water freezes on the forehead hairs and face, yes, he wrote such in the letter while his heart and soul were warm from love for Imam, why not, he had faith and a goal, faith in Imam and goal in the final victory of the revolution and internal and external war, and in this manner passed until again in April 60 he returned to Tehran and after 15 days again through the nest of spies was dispatched to Ahvaz front and in the operation to liberate Khorramshahr around Shalamcheh, his personnel carrier tank while advancing was hit by enemy bullet and suddenly engulfed in fire, and a number of its occupants burned and were martyred. Abdollah, while his whole body was on fire, threw himself out and by rolling extinguished himself, and although both his legs and hands and all his head and face were burned, after running two kilometers towards his own forces, when he reached opposite them, he lost his strength and fell to the ground, and they immediately transferred him by helicopter to Mahshahr and then to Tehran and to Motahhari Accidents and Burns Hospital, and he was hospitalized for about two months during which several surgeries were performed on him, and due to the severity of the burn, both his ears were cut off, and from above his knee some flesh was taken and placed on the palm of his hand, and it should not be left unsaid that I, who am his brother, when I went to the hospital for the first time, although I stood above his head, I did not recognize him until others said yes, Abdollah is this one, yes, I waited until he woke up from the sleep that had overtaken him due to the injection of painkiller ampoule, I called him and said Abdollah brother, it's me Mohsen, with difficulty he said brother, it's you, his eyes were swollen and wouldn't open, but on his burned and thickened lips, smile and grin were clearly visible, slowly he said brother, it's nothing, I'll get well, may Imam be safe, I didn't have the fortune to be martyred, and the same happened, but he hadn't fully recovered yet when he went to the front again, and before going, I told him wait until you get better then go, he said no, I must go now because with this appearance I can give morale to the kids in the front, yes, he was made for the front and for the happiness of martyrdom, this time Sumarr was his front, and amid the Sumarr war and attack with the code Ya Muslim ibn Aqil (A) began, and from morning to night he fought bravely, when night arrived, a number of enemy tanks had taken the fighters hard under fire, relentless fire in a way that had frustrated the kids, suddenly Abdollah took the RPG and rushed towards them, hit the first tank and the tank ignited, and the kids suddenly said Allahu Akbar, and hunted the second tank too, and went towards the third tank and fired, but the RPG hit the barrel of the third tank, they fired at him, not with fire but to meet Allah, yes, this union was achieved at the age of 18, Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar that a one and a half year old child loses his father and traverses the path so excellently and grows beautifully, Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar from this upbringing, Allahu Akbar from this emulation of Imam, Allahu Akbar from their sacrifice, Allahu Akbar from their combat, Allahu Akbar from their courage, Allahu Akbar from their martyrdom, and finally Allahu Akbar from their happiness, it should not be left unsaid two nights before Abdollah was martyred, he dreams that he climbs a short hill and on the other side a horseman is standing and says when are you coming, the next day when he wakes up, he tells his comrades I know I will be martyred, tell my brothers if I am martyred, in the hereafter I will be their intercessor, I saw Imam Zaman in a dream, he called me and I am going to him.
I praise you Abdollah who with faith and those thoughts
At eighteen you fought the Saddamites
Courage in the war of infidelity and religion became a scroll
In the path of truth, you finally became a martyr of the Sumarr front
And this bloodied tulip on the date 1361/7/27 after a magnificent funeral took rest adjacent to the Astan of Hazrat Abdulazim al-Hasan (A), may his memory and path be honored and well-trodden.
O God, O God, until the Mahdi Revolution, preserve Khomeini, deduct from our life and add to his life.

And regarding the meeting of the son in the hospital, his mother says: After three days, they informed me that my son is hospitalized, I went to the hospital, several patients were lying there, I went forward and said sir, do you know my son Abdollah Abduljabari? He said mother, it's me, yes, in this way the mother did not recognize her darling and dear from the severity of the burn.

O God, now that I am writing this will, I am remembering You who say O God, don't You like that I reach the grace of this great happiness? O Lord, I ask You to grant me the success of martyrdom, for the martyr has a high station, and I am a sinful and lowly person. Now, remembering You, I go to the front not for revenge but for the innocence of reviving my religion and continuing my revolution. I put my foot in the boot. And I seek help from God and Imam Zaman and his rightful deputy, and I ask him to guide me. And to the beyond and that path that he deems fit. My goal is God and my school is Islam, and the step I take and the bullet I fire. And I aim at the enemy's heart, may I remember God and have no goal except for the pleasure of God and jihad in His path.
O mother and brother and O kind sister, I beg you not to cry for me and I know you won't, but patience in the path of God will give you great reward.

Biography of Martyr Muhammad Ali Barghai
Martyr Muhammad Ali Barghai was born in 1316 in Rey City in a religious family. He was raised in the pure lap of a devout mother and a father faithful to what he had learned from Islam. After completing his studies and military service, he worked in a company and secretly carried out his political activities with his brothers and old friends, receiving Imam's messages and delivering them to the people and participating in various Quranic sessions and...
In 50, he married and then endeavored greatly in bringing the tree of the Islamic Revolution to fruition in marches and demonstrations and strikes and printing and distributing Hazrat Imam's leaflets and overthrowing the corrupt regime.
After the splendid victory of the Islamic Revolution and the arrival of Hazrat Imam, he attended the welcoming committee of Imam and whatever he obtained, he took to factories and work environments and delivered to workers who were unemployed due to factory strikes until the start of the newspaper (Islamic Revolution), he with a number of committed sister and brother students with the presence of Muhammad Montazeri in this newspaper that sometimes wrote until he became familiar with the state of the newspaper and its people and did not see them as they should be in Imam's line, and fortunately at this time the foundation and basis of Jihad Sazandegi was formed and he had a constant presence in its sessions and from the very beginning of work in Jihad, he went to the most remote points of Iran, namely in Haji Abad, one of the villages of Bandar Abbas, and started his work, and after that to the apprentice of Sistan and Baluchestan and in Kurdistan and the most deprived points of Iran.
In every place he entered, he brought this revolution with the name of Imam Khomeini to all points of Iran and with works that were in the path of advancing the goals of the revolution, by building baths, roads, schools, health houses, helps in improving agriculture to villagers, and in this way introduced the Islamic Revolution and the name of Imam which was unknown to the people there.
Until the imposed war began and he was active both on the front and in the Jihad war. Despite having five children, he never reduced his efforts and activities and was no longer present at home. He spent more time in war zones and in 64 he was chemically injured in such a way that when he came home, his face had blackened from burns and breathing was very difficult for him, and despite this, he did not go to the hospital and said that there are many worse than me, they should be hospitalized.
After recovery, he continued his works and activities as before, both on the front and in Jihad, he was the responsible for Jihad cooperation, he respected the families of martyrs very much and helped a lot, and on the front too until in 70 pains appeared in the chest area and following these pains, treatment also began and after months of treatment and care, two of his ribs were removed in one surgery, and after a few months his hip bone broke and after treatment and care with enduring very much pain, he never complained about his condition and always with that state that was very weak and suffering and still suffering from the deadly pain of hip and chest, he gave morale to everyone, even those who came to visit him until he was taken to Japan for treatment because they said that the Japanese have more experience in treating chemical disease, there they gave him injections that would make his body resistant against the disease until the injections also after a while lost their effect and the disease advanced and took over his entire existence and for the several time he was hospitalized and then on September 4, 72, his soul flew to the heavens and his worldly life ended.
May his soul be happy and his path well-trodden.

Biography of Martyr Morteza Islami
Martyr Morteza Islami nicknamed Kayhan, son of Mostafa Islami, holder of birth certificate number 728 issued from Rey City, born 1338/8/29, resident of Rey City, Haram Street, E'temadi Alley, No. 67, in a clerical and devout family stepped into existence, after primary and secondary studies and obtaining diploma in mathematics physics and also diploma in natural sciences and obtaining auditing diploma from Zanjan Institute with interest and indescribable enthusiasm introduced himself for performing sacred military service, headed to Ushrat Abad barracks and after learning necessary techniques was dispatched to Shiraz city and passed the specialized mortar course there, at the time of dividing personnel to cities, he chose Kermanshah city and from there to Sarpol Zahab and Abu Dhar barracks and performed the rest in the mentioned barracks, in April 1360 as leave returned and meanwhile even bid farewell and goodbye to all relatives and acquaintances and kin and friends, as if he had become aware of attaining the goal which was martyrdom itself, after ending the leave headed to the mission location and on the date 60/2/4 in the heights of Bazidraz while performing sacred duties attained the exalted degree of martyrdom.
His pure body on the date 60/2/10 in Rey City in the southern part of the lower mosque at the foot of the grave of Hazrat Abdulazim al-Hasani (upon him be peace) was buried.
Martyr Morteza Islami had very good morals and behavior such that during his short life duration, in all times towards father and mother and his brother and sister he behaved with affection and kindness and it must be recalled that he did not commit error and slip and always respected the revolution and the late Hazrat Imam. It is hoped that Almighty God and the Immaculate Imams (upon them be peace) and the dear Hazrat Imam, the idol-breaker of the ummah, accept this insignificant gift from this unworthy father and his Sayyidah mother with their grace and kindness. Muhammad Ibrahim was born in Rey City in Tehran Province. His father was Husayn Ali and his mother was Sadiqah. He was married to Maryam Guzarseh, and the result was one son named Hisam. He continued his studies up to obtaining an associate degree and was a watchmaker. Muhammad Ibrahim was martyred due to the explosion of a bomb planted by anti-revolutionary elements on Naser Khosrow Street in Tehran city. His pure grave is located in the holy shrine of Hazrat Abdulazim in Rey City.

Biography of Martyr Muhammad Shams Muhaqqiqin
He was born in 1331 in Tehran. He spent his childhood in the Mustawfi Passage neighborhood. He completed the first cycle in Dar al-Funun School, and then in an industrial school, obtained a diploma in electricity. After completing military service, he was employed in the Telecommunications Administration. At work, he was very orderly and loved by his colleagues and relevant superiors. In the days of February 22, he was very active in the revolution, and even for the afternoon of February 22, his left hand was injured for taking Tehran Now police station.
One month before the start of the war, he always hummed this couplet of poetry, which his friends did not understand the meaning of, but later they wrote it on his gravestone:
If you are a man of the path, you must go among yourself The fallen from feet, will fall headlong!

Biography of Martyr Muhammad Ali Amdi
In the year 1320 in a religious family in Tehran city, he opened his eyes to the world. After completing primary studies, he entered the Islamic Jafari High School and successfully completed his secondary studies.
Throughout his studies, he was a dignified, diligent, and committed student, and after obtaining secondary diploma, he headed to America to continue his studies and entered the university in the field of education. With much effort and endeavor, he was able to obtain a PhD in education after a while and returned to Iran in 1354 to serve the people of his homeland. Before the victory of the Islamic Revolution, he collaborated with the Ministry of Sciences, Ministry of Energy in presenting various plans in the field of education, and alongside the risen ummah of Islam, he participated in the splendid Islamic Revolution.
After the victory of the Muslim people of Iran, he cooperated with the Ministry of Commerce and also started work in the private sector in the field of agricultural productions and strived towards economic self-sufficiency and severing all ties of dependence. He, utilizing the knowledge he had gathered during years of study, placed himself at the disposal of Islam and its sublime ideals and sincerely served the Islamic Republic without the slightest expectation.
The martyr lived with his brother Dr. Muhammad Reza Amdi in one building, and these two brothers had placed everything they had on the plate of sincerity in serving Islam and knew that in this divine path, they must be prepared for martyrdom and leaving life.
On the sixteenth of Bahman 1360, hypocrites came to the door of their residential home intending to assassinate his brother and asked for his brother to come to the door. The martyr, who had become suspicious of these elements, exited the home along with his brother, and at this moment both became the target of the hypocrite terrorists' barrage and both wallowed in their own red blood, and Dr. Muhammad Ali Amdi was martyred on the spot due to the severity of the injuries.
In the apparent examination and autopsy, signs of multiple bullet hits in the skull and chest and abdomen and back are seen, which bullets in their path caused the disintegration of brain tissue and internal bleeding and consequently death.
The one who stands face to face with the great Satan with the flag of Islam in hand knows that the price of this resistance and struggle must be paid with life and make his red blood the pledge of his faith and commitment. Martyr Muhammad Ali Amdi was a fighter from this lineage and with a red death became eternal so that the countless followers of his path more steadfastly step in this divine path and raise this victorious flag on the highest peaks of the world.

And Dr. Muhammad Reza Amdi, while hit by a bullet in the abdomen area, fell to the ground and shortly after, he too reached the union with the Beloved and answered the call of truth.
The medical examiner has stated the cause of martyrdom of Dr. Muhammad Ali Amdi as follows.
Bullet hit to the abdomen on the left side at a distance of 4 cm outside the midline 6 cm below the navel with a diameter of about 7 mm with abrasion margin at the bullet entry site (bullet entry hole) path from front to back inclined to the left is the cause of death bullet hit to the abdomen leading to damage to internal organs
